Introduction toWorld Religions Interview Project Instructions and Rubric Dr. Derrick L. Lloyd Instructions: For your final project in the course, you will conduct an interview. Your task is to interview an individual who practices a religion other than yours. You will use the following questions to interview your participant. However, you are not limited to these questions.  You will then prepare  3-5 pages written summary essay of your findings. Please follow the instructions under each part. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to reading the results of your work! Part I:Interview Questions Instructions: Use the interview questions below to interview your participant.Keep in mind you will create one question of your own.You can use the boxes next to the questions to record your interviewee’s responses.  This is a worksheet to help you document your interview.  However, you will not turn in the worksheet.  You will use the information on the worksheet to write your summary interview essay. Question Response 1. What religion do you practice and how did you come to be a part of this religion?   2. In your religion, how important is prayer, and how often do its participants engage in prayer?   3. What role do worship services play in your religion, and what are the typical elements?   4. What do you believe is the most valuable lesson your religion teaches?   5. How does your religion affect your daily and family life?   6. What are you religion’s views on the afterlife?   7. Create at least one question of your own             Part II: Written Presentation Instruction: Once you have completed your interview and collected your responses, you will need to compose your findings into a written essay. Your essay should be three to five pages and should be in MLA format. Click here for more information on how to properly use MLA formatting. Your essay should include a summary of your participant’s responses as well as your reflection in regards to your findings.Each student will give a 5-7-minute oral presentation of your research on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 6-7:30 pm via Blackboard Collaborate. The oral presentation is 45% of your final grade.   Rubric Criteria Possible Points Points Earned Evidence that provided interview questions were used as evidenced in the written presentation 25   Essay is in proper MLA format 25   Essay uses appropriate grammar and mechanics with few to no errors 25   Essay includes a summary of the interview and the interviewer’s reflection 25               Total Points 100
