Journal #3 – Improvisation

The article, Finding the Right Movement has a thematic impression of finding the right moves during a dance. The author argues that a choreographer should be motivated by their environment to come up with the best dancing style. "The choreographer is guided by the improvisation by the initial motivation of initiating the dance." I perceive the author's position as correct in creating an understanding regarding dancing and motivation behind engaging in choreography. Based on the intention of a dance, moves initiated during dance will determine the outcomes of the choreography work and structure.
