Italian / Roman Catholic Baroque art style contains six basic characteristics. As learned in class, explain and define each characteristic below, in your own words:-Power and richness of the Catholic church-Heavy emotions-Saintly visions-Suffering and death-Theatrical effect-Biblical or religious stories2. For this assignment, you must analyze:A. One sculpture by Gian Lorenzo Bernini that incorporates the characteristics listed above (USE THIS ONE: Gian Lorenzo Bernini, David (1623 to 1624))B. One painting by Caravaggio (USE THIS ONE: Painting: Crucifixion of Saint Peter(1601))C. One painting by Artemisia Gentileschi (USE THIS ONE: Artemisia Gentileschi, Susanna and the Elders (1610))3. Simply list all of the characteristics for each artwork. Then, indicate whether the art work contains or does not contain that characteristic. See example under "Instructions and Directions" folder above.NO PORTRAITS! Use works that contain most of the characteristics listed.Your analysis must include:-The Italian Baroque characteristics you defined above by showing how and where those characteristics appear in the art works.-The Renaissance painting techniques. (Not for the Bernini sculpture)-Provide short summary in your own words of biblical or religious story shown in art work (cite your source).
