On April 20, 1999, the shooting in columbine high school left 13 dead and 24 people injured. After the incident had occurred, the FBI contacted the investigation to identify the root course of the crime (Hong et al., 2011). During the investigation process, FBI officers identify adversaries that were classified into either threats or threat actors. The method also helped locate vulnerabilities behind the incidence whose countermeasure could be recommended to prevent the repeat of the same crime in the future.

Adversaries are persons who are actively opposing or are relentlessly against other people. In this information analysis, adversaries would comprise the people who are interfering with others' peace and security during the Columbine high school shooting (Aven & Guikema, 2015).
