Read Chapter 9, "Using Integrative Strategies and Interventions," pages 173–211 in the Cormier text, Counseling Strategies and Interventions for Professional Helpers. Read three articles from peer-reviewed journals that are about one or more theoretical orientation(s) of your choice. The articles should provide empirical evidence of the effectiveness of the chosen theory or theories. Based on the information from the readings in our text for this week and the articles you read  discuss the approach that you think would be best in working with a hypothetical counseling client. Be sure to describe what the client's problems are and why your suggested approach is likely to be effective.
