This final chapter discusses five important issues shaping compensation practices (minimum wage, performance appraisal practices, compensation-productivity gap, gender pay, and pay transparency).  Which ONE of these topics do you think is the most important issue for companies to address?  Briefly describe the nature of the problem, why you think it is an important issue, and how you think companies should change compensation practices to best address the problem.   This is an individual assignment. Your answer should go beyond the textbook; you can incorporate information learned from the discussion forum (cite your classmate appropriately) and information you obtain from an internet search on the topic.
