Small Assignment: Choose a country you are interested in and one of the four immigration eras we discussed, and research the following on your own: (1) What were the main episodes of emigration out of or immigration into that country? (2) What were some of the root causes of such emigration/immigration flows? (3) For emigration what countries did people go to? For immigration, where did people come from? Responses need not be more than 1-3 paragraphs. This is a short assignment.
