Today, arguments concerning technology are rife.
According to Bailey and Leornadi (2015), the society derives both positive and
negative effects from the use of technology. The prevalence of technology has significantly
affected many areas of the society in positive ways, most especially in social
networking. For that reason, technology is fundamental to the growth of
humankind because the continuous advancement in technology has made life easier
while creating platforms for opening up opportunities that were not in
existence before. The present society
depends on technology considering it is an integral part of it, underlined by
the ease at which information is disseminated across the globe. Gradually,
technology has become the very fabric that society has been built upon. Technology
is a double-edged sword nonetheless it is imperative to acknowledge that
technology has positive effects on the various aspects of life.
