I Search: The History of Aspirin

Step I: Introduction

Over the last couple of semesters, I have done many essays and research papers on the origin of things, but for this particular paper, I am interested in research on the history of aspirin. Considering the increase in human ailments, it is important to investigate some of the mysterious drugs that save millions of lives worldwide. For example, according to World Health Organization, management of pain is one of the most widespread human health issues that can affect a person regardless of their age, race, gender, as well as general health conditions. This makes 'pain' a universal health problem. One of the leading drugs available through prescription or over the counter is aspirin (Montinari et al. 5). Therefore, due to the critical role played by aspirin, I considered researching its history essential.
