How is History made? Individual vs Circumstance

Individuals make history. An excellent example of such individuals is Hitler. History only exists if an individual or a group of people have committed to ensuring lasting memories. History can be positive or negative; it all depends on the person who is responsible for creating those memories. An event can take place today, and in thousands of years to come, the current generation will be aware of what happened. A generation comes to know about what happened in the past through movies, documentaries, written books, and bibliographies that contain key historical landmarks about an essential person in a society. The fact that a person remembers both an even and key individuals who played a part in it leads to confusion whether circumstances or individuals make history. Answering the above question requires the application of knowledge of what an individual did of how the person changed things that were prevalent during the historical event.
