Case Study Written Assignment

This course requires that you complete ONE case study analysis from options provided below. It is your choice to pick which case you wish to read and discuss.  Each case is interesting and will hopefully tug an emotional response.  Your goal in completing the analysis is to understand the facts and players involved and comment on a solution or your personal opinion.   Critical thinking is encouraged as you explain each case.

The following tips will assist you in successfully completing the case assignment. Use the bolded part of the questions below as your headers for each section.

1.  Read the case once, then re-read

2.  Identify the major players in the case

3.  What are the major points and opinions in the case?

4.  What thoughts and reactions arose within you as you studied this case? Why?

5.  What would be your solutions  going forward?

6. Why do you agree or disagree with any of the expert commentator's opinions?

Grading Guidelines and Mechanics

·       Review the rubric to understand expectations.

·       Case study should be long enough to convey your points, no less than 3.5 pages

·       A minimum of two academic references are required of which one may be a course text.

·       Use proper APA format for this paper using 12-point Times New Roman font, cover page, reference page, and APA formatted citations.

·       Late assignments will incur a penalty of up to 20%.

·       Refer to the schedule for the due date.
