Chemical pollutants can be defined as the availability or increase in the volume of chemical substances in the atmosphere than the standard level. According to Landrigan et al. (2019), most of these harmful chemical substances emanate from human activities which employ intensive use of chemical or emit the chemical as byproduct such as agricultural activities, mining, manufacturing and transportation among others.
