Harriet
Tubman is an American bondwoman, and she is in the memories of many people, not
only for being courageous but also a bond lady. She was born in the year 1820,
Maryland, Dorchester count in the United States of America and later passed in
1913 (Wilson, Pitts, & Kidd, 2019). For
being a bond, the woman managed to escape slavery in the south and later became
the abolitionist's leader before the start of the civil war in America.
In
the year 1849, Tubman realized that she was about to be sold as a slave, and
therefore, she ran for her dear life and sought refuge in Philadelphia, leaving
behind her sibling, parents, and also husband. Later towards the end of 1850,
she found her way into Maryland, whereby she freed her sister plus her children
from slavery, and that marked first attempt to free saves (
