Guns on Campus

Burnett (right to carry guns on the campuses) presents the main argument that students should be allowed to carry guns on the campuses. He supports this argument by using a couple of facts. First, Burnett proves that gun free zones are not always the safe zone. He presents a scenario where a mentally challenged student enters the school armed with two handguns having 400 rounds of ammunitions and kills 32 students. Second, by allowing guns in campuses was a movement to help the defenseless students against unanticipated attacks. Finally, Burnett believes that concealing carrying of weapons would work by controlling the gun holder's manners on how he uses the gun.

On the other hand, Dickerson (students should not carry guns in campuses) say that it is both illegal and reckless to permit guns in colleges. He supports his argument by citing that permitting students to carry guns would lead to increased homicide and suicides.
