Based off of a scholarly peer reviewed journal article from Ebsco or some other online journal database related to Group Dynamics The purpose of the required journal article is to allow students to explore a specialized topic of their own choice within the field of group dynamics/group counseling and to give students experience in using library journal databases to search for peer reviewed scholarly research articles and exemplify their knowledge through a well written and organized literature review. After reading your chosen article in its entirety, use the application of critical thinking and analytical skills to assist in your literature review of the article. The review should provide evidence that you have thoroughly read and comprehended the article, that you have learned something about the growing body of knowledge concerned with group dynamics/group counseling, and are able to integrate psychological concepts into your paper. Sources Internet sources must be sponsored by professional or academic organizations or services; junk websites should be avoided. Required text: ​Corey, Gerald (2016). Theory & Practice of Group Counseling, 9th edition. cengage Format The paper should be adequate in length to address the aforementioned concepts which equates to roughly 3-5 pages. Please adhere to APA format, especially when referencing the text, journal article etc. and include a works cited page. Please type in black ink, using Times New Roman, a 12 point font, double space, with one inch margins. Evaluation The journal article is worth points toward your final course grade and will be evaluated on the basis of organization, content, thoroughness, quality of applied psychological concepts, and integration of the literature.
