An introduction to the case study and some background information on the topic
The pressure and rivalry between two medical centers are seen to be at top notch each trying to secure competitiveness. While one health center is seeking to expand its market, the other one is fighting to retain the market without attempts to increase its coverage. With the occurrence of the merger between a building company and one medical center, the later has become fruitful and stable and possess a real threat to its competitor. The case ends with LMC high intentions to put up a medical center near its competitor, and OBCH feels this is unfair and vow to pursue ways to stop this construction.
The case is between two core principles, the Lakeview Medical Centre (LMC) and Oak Bluffs Community Hospital (OBCH). LMC is large medical center with 500 physicians multispecialty operating in more than 40 different locations. On the hand, OBCH is a relatively small medical facility with only about 193 beds and operation in one geographical setup. With the merger between the Greenbridge Corporation and the intention to purchase a piece of land near Oak Bluffs Community Hospital, the latter feels much worried about the security of its market. The CEO of Oak Bluffs Community Hospital sights the collaboration as a great move that could jeopardize its operation when the intended hospital is constructed. All these contentions have ensued as the result of Greenbridge Corporation vigorousness to push its agenda to increase its clients and gain more profitability (Liebler & McConnel, 2017).

On the hand, with the implementation of LMC plan, the community will benefit in a great way. They will be able to access quality and affordable health care service unlike when one health center, OBCH, is monopolizing the marketing.
Commenting on the medical staff of Oak Bluffs Community Hospital it is evidence that they lack sufficient loyalty and operate at...
