Choose a food policy including but not limited to: farm subsidies, SNAP, subsidized school lunches, tax on sugary drinks, support for farmers’ markets, immigration, minimum wage etc. and find two different opinions about it (usually, op-eds in media are a good place to find these). Briefly describe the policy and summarize the two different opinions. Identify the different frames and data the writers use to form their arguments. Identify each writer’s underlying paradigm/frame, assumptions and the data they use to illustrate their points. Where do you stand on this issue and why?
