Understanding What do you believe was Seattle CORE’S most effective grassroots strategy to combat school segregation and why? Make sure you refer to specific passages from the reading. In your thesis claim you can also take a totally different approach, but you still must use specific historical evidence to support your claim. Reflection What was your reaction to the reading? This can be a critique of the arguments, a deconstruction of it, a new idea that you are excited about, but it must include a connection with one or more of the theoretical approaches we are discussing in class (including citations) and demonstrate you have a solid understanding of that approach in application.
