Question.  Numerous explanations have been offered for the CRE (Brigham, Bennett et. al, 2007) -what are some of the most convincing ones?  What factors did these researchers claim to have an effect on the magnitude of the cross race effect. You do not need to list all mentioned, just the ones that seem to influence how well people do when identifying someone of another race?  Are there any factors that mediate, moderate or interact with one another?  If so, what are they:  Hint: they mention one variable that did NOT have an effect, but combined with another variable it did.   Are some racial groups better than others at cross-racial ID, why?   What did these researchers report about the Korean Adoption study?
