Police sometimes use excessive and deadly force when making an arrest. Students are to research and discuss the pros and cons of using excessive and deadly force. The purpose of this paper is for the student to understand both sides of the criminal justice system and know that tactics that are sometimes used to justify acts of violence used by some officers.
