The article, “Feminine Agendas: The historical evolution of feminism as reflected in the content of American women’s magazines” was written by Gemberling and published in 2012. The article is available in the journal of “American women’s magazines.”  The central theme of the author is to elaborate the trend of feminism in America dating back as early as 18th century. Gemberling achieves the key idea of the research by looking at how feminism has been presented in women’s magazines from medieval society to-date.
