There were many groups who came to the New World from England.   Create a timeline of the various groups who traveled here between 1585-1630 and discuss why these groups traveled to the New World and where they settled. Which groups were successful, which were not? What did the English government hope to gain from establishing colonies? Compare that with what colonists may have hoped to gain from coming to the new colonies.
