Dr. Ryan Stone’s Character Goals and Obstacles in the Gravity (2013).

Question 1

The first Stone’s key goal was establishing communication with Earth and receiving assistance. At 22:30 into the film, she realizes she has lost contact with Mission Control and must find ways to restore communication to survive. The second goal was to get past Stone's fear and panic to focus on problem-solving; for example, at 46:30, Stone is hit by debris which sends her space capsule spinning uncontrollably; she panics while trying to regain control. The third goal was finding an escape route back home through Chinese space stations such as Tiangong; this happened around 1:06:00 when Stone noticed Tiangong on her way back.

Dr. Stone's ultimate objective is to survive and make her way home safely to Earth. At first, her motivation lies with accomplishing her mission and returning home; but as obstacles present themselves along her journey, this goal becomes secondary.
