Nursing practice in the United States varies widely mostly based on the population that requires to be served. In my State, Florida, the NP practice is limited based on their ability to provide the healthcare and the competence. According to Florida NP Full Practice Authority (2017), in some instances, nurse practitioners are required to “secure ‘collaborative agreements’ based on the supervising doctor to guide them in the provision of medical prescription failure to which they take full responsibility for any fault that may arise.”
