Content of Chapter 7 (Pages 388 to 400).
In life, one of the essential things that identify us as human beings is the type of friends that we interact with. The number of friends has continually become less important as compared to the quality of change that they can impact in one's life. Personally, I have very few friends, but they mean a lot to me. The type of friends that are chosen at school in social contexts helps me navigate the challenges of learning and position me better for my future professional career.
The learning materials presented in chapter 7 discuss several types of friends, each with their distinctive characteristics in influencing one's life.
· The first type of Reciprocal friends who have the quality of commitment and want to do good for me.
· The second class is the associative friends who like having fun with me, but they are not really close and do not understand many things about my life.
· The third type is the receptive friends who are only good to me what I can match their status. Differences in our societies are imminent; low-class and high-class has also affected how people develop relationships.
· Fourth is friends with benefits, who only benefit from me for what I can offer.
