Defining Moments Literature Review

INSTRUCTIONS:

A life changing event is when something or someone comes along and changes it. These events or people do not have too always be negative. It just means they or it changed the way you may view different things or situations. Some may be for your better some may be for worst. One of Hamilton’s life changing events was when her and her brother was left alone after their parents split in the summer of 1979. Hamilton felt as if she was abandoned by her parents as she stated. It was an oversight like leaving cup of coffee on the roof of the car while you dig out your keys and drive off. Another one of her life changing events was when she met Michele her husband. Michele came along married her they then had two sons together. Hamilton never imagined she would have a family of her own. She explained that Michele was like a teenage girl who falls in love with the drummer in the band-she loves the music, the smoke, the light show, the emotion conjured in her own self, and there at the back of the stage, keeping the whole thing running is their drummer. She decides it is him she wants. Speaking of how their love affair started. My very own life changing experience was when I had my first-born child. That experience changed me in a positive way. Now I had, had a life I was responsible for myself. Now I was no longer a child I had been chosen to birth and raise one. It was a girl not a baby doll but a human being of my own. I could dress her up comb her hair and play with all day. I had to now make correct responsible decisions because I had someone to look after and look up to me. Conclusion Writers share these moments to give readers a clearer vision about themselves and the story. We need these to better understand there storylines especially if it is a story in high comparison to their own personal lives.
