The inter-related assignments require that you: • Develop an original ethnographic research project and question/s, • Undertake original library research in order to identify and build on the relevant ethnographic precedent, • Concisely explain and justify the methodologies that will help you explore and answer your research question/s, • Discuss your data analysis approach, • Evaluate the ethics issues, entailments, and challenges or hazards associated with your proposed approach, summarize your data management strategy, and • Discuss the objectives and outcomes that may arise from your research. You are welcome to focus on any anthropological and/or sociological research topic, and encouraged to choose those issues that you find interesting, and for which there are sufficient secondary scholarly resources (e.g., journal articles, book chapters, ethnographies, documentary films).
