strategies important to crime prevention. Additionally, crime analysis has been
acknowledged to occur at different levels for instance, strategic, tactical and
operational (IACA, 2014). Crime analysis involves the study of various reports
compiled by law enforcement agencies, for instance, arrest and crime reports so
that to identify the patterns and trends behind the various crimes. In reality,
crime analysts have the capacity to analyze different phenomena surrounding
crime so that to discover all the relevant factors, sometimes predict future
occurrence of a particular crime as well as issuing the public with crime
