Using the principles and readings of this course thus far, provide 2 examples of poor calibration from your own personal experience.  -One example should demonstrate under-confidence and the other over-confidence.  -For each example, discuss what led to the poor calibration as well as consequences.  -What do you think could have made your confidence level more accurate?  -To what extent did social comparison influence your confidence level?    To bolster arguments of calibration, it will help to provide actual statistics when applicable—part of establishing one’s calibration is comparing perceived probability to actual probability/frequency of occurrence. As such, be sure to cite (in text and in a reference page) any scholarly source you choose to incorporate.
