Introduction

The problem to be addressed concerns the California Emergency Physician Medical group. It is a medical facility that specializes in the provision of emergency health care services in California. It is the client in this case with attempts to solve one of its shortcomings in the delivery of medical services to its customers.

Problem statement

What steps can be taken to reduce overcrowding in the hospital emergency departments? In most instance, the emergency rooms in this medical group are overcrowded by patients in critical condition and family members coming to see and monitor the recovery of their loved ones. Due to this reason, most physicians complain that they do not get ample time and space to diagnose and administer treatment to the ever-increasing number of patients.
