INSTRUCTIONS:

In order for companies and businesses to avoid paying different wages between genders there are things that they can do (Janisch, 2018). “One suggestion from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is for employers to organize salary audits in order to proactively monitor and address gender-based pay differences” (Janisch, 2018). Why have organizations failed to perform a full compensation audit, to expose any internal pay discrepancies, and to then provide corrective action? Why are compensation audits not part of a full financial audit? What action plan should be required of all organizations as it relates to verification that the aforementioned audit is regularly and properly conducted?
