Comparative Analysis of Saudi and Native American Cultures

Saudi culture is among the most persevered social systems, despite an increase in civilization and liberalization of people. The extensive history of Saudi cultures shows critical preservation of norms and practices that continue to determine the identity of Arabs in the contemporary world. Native American culture is more robust with eminent incidences of westernization. To accomplish the objective of this comparative essay, femininity versus masculinity concepts of Hofstede cultural dimensions will be applied. According to Hofstede, Hofstede, and Minkov (2010), femininity versus masculinity is concerned with the attitude of a community towards sexuality, behaviour, gender roles as well as how social norms that shape human interaction. Saudi and Native American cultures are similar since, in both, men head the family, and both cultures are experiencing an increased gender separation; however, both cultures vary based on marriage, family size, gender role.
