document details our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative's
communication management plan to streamline operations, boost productivity and
instill an atmosphere of transparency within our organization that promotes
efficient data management practices. This communication plan details the what,
to whom, when, where, how, and why of our project's communication strategy. It
outlines the information that will be disseminated; stakeholders that will be
engaged; proposed communication platforms/timelines/modes, and our commitment
to keeping stakeholders informed while encouraging collaboration and meeting
stakeholder expectations regarding project objectives. This plan is flexible
and may change as the project progresses, providing a framework for how project
information will be disseminated to stakeholders and how we will engage them in
our engagement efforts.
What will I need
to communicate? The primary communications will include project progress
reports, project milestones, risk and issue updates, changes in the project
scope, budgetary updates, and meeting minutes. We will also communicate any
decisions made, lessons learned, and ad hoc reports.
To whom will I
need to communicate? We will communicate with all key stakeholders involved in
the project. This includes the project team, project sponsor, senior
management, IT department, finance department, end-users of the ERP system, and
the ERP system vendor.
When will I need
to communicate? Project updates will be communicated every week or as required
by the specific stakeholder. Critical issues will be communicated immediately.
Meetings will be held monthly or as needed.
Where will I
communicate? Communication will occur through email, project management
