The aim of this project is to find the optimal manufacturing strategy for material removal using CNC milling for range of surfaces. Objectives: Extensive literature review and good understanding of the milling process. When machining programs are generated, a lot of factors need to be taken into account. Depending on the selected parameters, resulting time, surface quality and appearance can vary. In this project optimisation of the material removal process will be developed based on the results from the cutting simulations in CREO (manufacturing model).
