Clinical diagnosis is the estimated identification of a particular disease that underlies the patient’s complaints which are based merely on the signs and symptoms as well as the medical history of a patient rather than on the laboratory examination or the medical imaging.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
This particular disease is caused mainly by tobacco and other irritants. The smoker develops a clinically a COPD which is apparent and reduced lung function is experienced over time. Lungs being mostly dependent on the elasticity of tubes to allow proper air circulation may experience reduced functions due to emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Irritants that cause COPD includes secondhand smoke, cigar smoke, workplace exposure to dust, and air pollution.
Alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency relates to causes of COPD in adults. Alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAt) is made up in the liver and used up in the bloodstream to create protein in the lung. Lack of enough AAt will damage the lungs in infants and children. Other factors consider greatly can increase the risk of the cause in COPD include; People with asthma and smoke are at a high chance of getting infected, age and genetics also increase the risk of infection by making the victim most susceptible to this disease.
