Research Proposal: You are required to develop a research proposal, in which you will select a topic, conduct a literature review, and develop your research question, research plan and design. Proposals must be typed in MS Word format, double-spaced, with page number, 1” all around margin and Times New Roman 12 point font size. The citation and referencing should be based on APA or ASA style. You need to have your proposal reviewed for spelling and grammatical corrections before submitting it. The completed proposal is due on 12/15/2020 Your proposal should include the following parts. TITLE PAGE  ABSTRACT - A summary, introducing the reader to the proposal (about 120 words). LITERATURE REVIEW Each student is required to find a minimum of 3 relevant and current (published in the past 10 years) social scientific articles and review. Our book and textbooks from other classes do not count, but you can refer to them in addition to your sources. Your review should synthesize and critique the existing literature on your topic in a manner that demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the literature on your topic (4- 5 pages). RESEARCH QUESTIONS AND HYPOTHESES This section presents research questions and hypotheses resulting from literature review and study rationale.  They should evolve logically from what is known and unknown about the topic (1-2 pages). RESEARCH DESIGN You need to discuss data collection methods to be employed and provide a rationale for their use (1-2 pages) REFERENCES – Provide the list of articles and references, using APA style.
