These are the instructions from the professor on how the paper needs to look; “Your paper should be 5 pages in length (Minimum 4 complete pages or maximum of 6 complete pages – excluding title page, references and any pictures or graphs which would be extra). Your paper should be a good summary of the topic. If there are multiple perspectives on your topic, you must present them. Your paper should be written from authoritative sources and not written from popular literature. You must have a minimum of 8 references from authoritative and recent sources. Your paper must have in-text citations. ALL facts and information in your paper must be referenced. It should be apparent to your reader where you obtained each piece of information. Each student must write their own independent paper. If you are unclear about what are authoritative sources or where to find information, please talk to a librarian (or see below). They have a 24 hour/ 7 day a week chat line on the Auraria Library Website. Your paper should consist of the following sections: -Title page with your topic and your name. - Five (5) pages of text. - List of references. You must have at least 8 references from reputable sources. These references need to be cited in your paper. The format of your reference isn’t important as long as you are consistent and all information (including title, pages, date, etc.) is given so that anyone could find your referenced information. Plagiarism is academic dishonesty and will result in a failed paper. No part of your paper should be copied from a source. Everything should be in your own words. You may not use quotes in your paper, with or without quotation marks. Your paper should NOT be a paraphrase of a single sources or almost a single source. Any direct copying of a source into your paper will result in a failing grade on the project and possibly the class. Paper: maximum 6 pages of text (excluding title page and reference page), double-spaced typed, 12-point font.”
