Case Study: this should be a proper case study with realistic issues and not just one or two lines What are the main safeguarding concerns in your case study What needs to be done to safeguard the adult or child in your case study and why (you can use a serious case review that is in the public domain and that bears similarities to your own case study as a method of illustrating your points) Is there a need for a multi-professional approach What legislation is relevant to the safeguarding concerns in your case study and why. Include two or three with a brief explanation of their relevance. Choose one of your legislation to critically evaluate showing its strengths and limitations (show your knowledge of appropriate legislation used to inform the practice of professionals). How well will this piece of legislation safeguard the adult or child in your case study and what are it’s limitations (here again you can use research or cases in the public domain to illustrate your points and provide some evidence-base for your discussion Provide a conclusion: include what knowledge you have gained and how you will use this in the future
