Relationships between societies vary between ethnicities, religions, and cultures. However, after my visit to Western Europe, I noticed that some of their way of life and customs related to norms in Mongol-ruled China. These ideas and universal standards influenced the conduct of societies.  

I found out that in Western Europe the people adopted Christianity, and were convinced that a Savior who was the son of God, and would cleanse them of their sinful ways. I trusted that Christianity was Confucianism to people in Ancient China. According to Maher (2016), the states and the populaces approved this system, and like religion, it provided them with rules and guidelines.  

I realized that in Medieval Europe the state fed its multiplying population. For example, it imported food supplies from overseas.  As a traveler from Mongol dynasty I found this situation to be conversant because the government also fed us during a period of food shortage. According to Maher (2016), the empire built massive storehouses and filled them during harvest seasons to reduce the effects of reduced crop yields and drought.
