If the organization that Tim Nelson worked for were mine, I would have made the same choice. One of the main guiding principles in doing business and serving the public is that the key stakeholders' ability to act in a way that fosters trust and confidence among the people being served. In this case, if employees or a particular organization lack virtues that can assure the general public of the commitment to serve them, the organization would definitely fail.

Considering the intensity of the matter, I may also want to add that Tim Nelson’s drunkard habit seems to be a perpetual problem that had to be addressed at all costs. I understand that his loss of job was perceived as extreme, but I think that was the only right way to ensure even other employees learn the importance of observing policies laid to control the conducts and behaviours of each organizational stakeholders.
