Introduction

This case study explores the tragic school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018 and its subsequent impact on business responses to gun violence and gun control within the US. Following this tragic event, students initiated a movement called #NeverAgain, calling for stricter gun control measures as well as mental health system reforms; this has resulted in widespread debate and protests such as March for Our Lives (March 4 Our Lives in DC and similar marches around other major US cities).
