The paper should feature a current educational trend or a future prediction that uses the past to explain and predict the present and the future.  This means that you are going to have to support your contention through sound deliberation, through research and sound reasoning.  You can take any concept and show how the past has brought us to this present.  Have we learned from the past?  Is this concept revolutionary or evolutionary?  What are the social, fiscal and political implications for this trend?  We will discuss this more fully in class.  Please get the professor’s approval prior to writing. An abstract (300-500 words) is due on Canvas prior to class on The paper should follow the latest APA guidelines. It will be generally between 10 and 15 pages, including the abstract, references, and cover page. Your work will be graded based on adherence to APA and its conceptual clarity, structure and organization, scholarly writing, thoroughness, and use of relevant academic sources and materials.  You should have a minimum of 5 references that helped shape your paper.
