Ask Why I Care

I have watched the video Ask Me Why I Care by Brandy Hodge, a volunteer coordinator in the Department of Human Services at Johnson County, Kansas. Mitchelle Dubrovski is my fictional character. She has long hair, dark hair following on her shoulder, and an athletic body, 22 years old, looking though she is thirty-five. She is a married African American, employed civil servant, well-educated, and dignified.

Mitchelle applies adaptive leadership skills to thrive in her challenging line of duty. She works in the department of human services. The three traits she suggests per Northouse are determination, sociability, and intelligence. She is determined to help implement policies and follow up on donations to ensure that the elderly and the needy in the community receive necessary assistance with affection. Mitchelle is the firstborn in her family of six. Her other siblings have finished college and working at different institutions. Mitchelle's family was middle class, and she got the life her family could afford but not the one she admired. The family of six lived in a tiny house, and life worsened after their father's death.
