Introduction
The article, “The Black Death: An Essay on Traumatic change,” by Atlas Jerrold published January 2009 target to address the traumatic change that took place in European world to its citizens concerning the population matters in the region. The article discusses the effect of the death of black epidemic in the old period. The article attributes the improvements in childrearing to the societal alignment which resulted from the profound traumatic change which was brought by the Black Death in Europe. The article further stresses that the reassessed change of lifestyle after the plague can be blamed for ruined life systems before the Black Death occurred.
Summary
The author, Atlas, sight population as an impendent that might have been solved by the Black Death, but later people started to increase the population again.
