Each individual/group is required to provide a digitized visual element (an art project that can consist of a media project, short compilation lasting 1-2 minutes, photographs, zine, series of memes, performance such as music, poetry, spoken word, dance, etc.) that summarizes their project and materializes their critical ideas visually. This project is not to be confused with a “high schoolish” visual presentation of a project on a Bristol board) or a slide presentation of an essay project. It is an art project. It is a digital art project that will be submitted online. These projects will be displayed in the Art Gallery section of Brightspace and commented on by your peers. More information will be relayed in class and posted online. Your art project should be accompanied by an Artist’s statement that is no longer than 150 words to capture the spirit of the work. Important: You must submit a digitized copy of your Art project and statement on Brightspace. Submission files will be open the week of the submissions.
