First, Qi helps people in achieving a balanced diet which can aid in boosting their health conditions. According to Bottomley (2004), Qi entails avoiding foods which are fried, high intake of dairy and junk products, as well as ensuring food is relatively warm and cooked before eating it. As a result, a person who constantly practices Qi is most likely to enjoy health benefits such as improved digestion, better sleep, as well as having a boosted body immune system due to taking recommended amounts of foods, at the right time, in the right quantities. Additionally, there are several types of Prana which helps one in balancing health. These Prana are; Naga, Kurma, Devadatta, Krikala and Dhananjaya (Saraswati, 2009). Prana helps one’s health by strengthening muscles, improving one’s breathing and helping in the general blood and food circulation in the body.
