My Thesis:  Radioactive elements have traditionally been associated with destruction and death; however, certain radioactive elements have provided mankind with solutions for improved health and increased life. The story of how radioactivity has been a force for scientific and clinical good is a remarkable tale that continues to the present and points towards a promising future.
