Final Writing Plan

For this analysis, I will focus on the importance of President Lincoln’s history and many things that today's leaders can learn, even though Lincoln's reign was short-lived. Just to use the Emancipation Proclamation as an example, at the beginning of this, he was not supported by many states, especially in the south. But to make a change, there has to be a beginning which may lead to a better end. I will discuss his actions started a chain of events that would lead into the world as we know and see today.

In doing this research, I will focus on what makes Abraham Lincoln an extraordinal leader, amidst criticism for being the first Republican president. In this regard, I will be interested in pin-pointing major accomplishments that Lincoln spearheaded and have created a significant impact on Americans live till to date.
