Decision to pursue health service management

My intent desire to pursue the degree in health service management has been influenced by various potential results that I anticipate from my carrier once I complete my undergraduate. Most importantly I believe I will be able to make a change in the society. It has always been my desire to contribute to the health and welfare of human being, and by pursuing this program, I will be improving and saving hundreds or even thousands of lives every day

The education in this field will also provide me with an excellent career opportunity given that healthcare is the biggest industry in New York. Virtually, for the past five year most of the sprouting industries, both private and public, are offering the largest job market opportunities and the sector is anticipated to grow faster shortly due to increasing technology. Finally, I have been motivated by the career flexibility. Health service management provides a vast range of applications in which graduates can take such as medical insurances, professional medical societies, and management consultancy. The major core competence given by this course places the graduates at a higher competitive advantage through the acquisition of relevant skill to address both career and life requirements (Taket, 1998).
