INSTRUCTIONS:
Select a piece of communication from a company (email, direct mail, website, social media post, press/ PR Coverage, print ad, outdoor billboard, etc.) where a consumer response is being solicited. These response may be making a (specific) purchase, making a donation (of a specific amount), responding to a survey, or anything else. Analyze the role that the contextual and nonconcious factors are playing in influencing consumers respond in those ways. Think about the communication piece itself as well as the physical surrounding in which the consumer may be viewing and/ or interacting with the piece. And, if relevant, suggest ways the piece could be better utilize contextual factors to nudge consumers toward a particular (desired) response.
